The New Giraffe Story

One uponce a time there were three little giraffes. They loved to play
together. They would chase and race each other. They laughed and they were
very happy.

One day the sky looked dark like a big storm was coming. They decided that
they needed to find a safe place to stay the night. They walked for a long
time. At last they came to a big wooden house. A man was just about to
close the doors when he saw the giraffes. They told him that they needed a
safe place to sleep. The man told them that he only had enough room for two
of them inside. One of them was going to have to sleep outside in the rain.
They didn't know what to do. Then one of the little giraffes said that he
would sleep outside so that the other two could stay dry. The two other
giraffes thanked him and said that they would see him in the morning. It
rained very hard all night. The next morning when they woke up the two
giraffes couldn't see land anywhere. It rained so much that the giant house
was floating on the water. It rained a very long time. They missed their
friend and hoped that he was safe. Days and nights were filled with the
sounds of rain and thunder.

Then one day all the rain stopped. The land dried up and the house settled
on top of a huge rock. The old man let the giraffes out. The two of them
looked and looked for a long time. They never did find their friend.

Not all stories have a happy ending.

The White Giraffe Story

Snowflake was just a little giraffe but she knew that she didn't look like
the others. She was almost all white. She still had spots like the others
but hers were a lot smaller. When she was born her mother said that she
looked like she was covered in snowflakes and that's how she got her name.

One day while Snowflake was out playing she met a little white lion. His
name was Dusty. Neither of them had ever met another white animal before.
They talked and played and became best friends.

They both grew up and drifted apart.

One day Snowflake was with her family and one of them spotted a pride of
lions. The giraffes ran but soon found themselves trapped in a dead-end
bluff. The girl giraffes stayed in a small group while the boy giraffes
protected them. The lions were getting closer. Snowflake looked at the
lions and noticed a white lion leading the pride. She recognized him. It
was Dusty, her childhood friend. She broke free from the giraffes and ran
towards the lions. All of the giraffes yelled for her to stop but she
ignored their pleas. All of the lions roared except one. Dusty was
Snowflake and he charged towards her as fast as he could. All of the
giraffes and lions thought that Dusty was going to attack Snowflake. He ran
towards her and jumped towards her neck. Dusty gave Snowflake the biggest
hug she had ever gotten. It had been a long time since the two friends had
seen each other.

The other animals were all surprised. Snowflake and Dusty explained that
the use to be friends a long time ago. The lions promised not to chase the
giraffes for food any more. They all became friends and played together all
the time.

Snowflake realized that if you had a true friend they were yours for life,
no matter what might have changed in your lives.

The Pink Dinosaur Story

One uponce a time there was a little pink dinosaur named Knip. She was a
Pinkosaurus. She had light pink skin with darker pink spots on her back.

One day Knip was eating an apple and her tooth fell out. She didn't know
what was happening. She was very scared. Knip worried that if all her teeth
fell out then she wouldn't be able to eat anything. Knip started crying.

Mammasaurus heard Knip crying and went to find out what was wrong. Knip
told her Mammasaurus about her tooth falling out. She also mentioned her
fears about not being able to eat any more. Mammasaurus told Knip that all
dinosaur's teeth fell out. She told little Knip that now she would grow a
new bigger dino tooth like Mamma and Pappasaurus.

Knip got excited about growing her very own set of big dino teeth. Knip
carried her tooth around in her pocket just in case the big tooth never
grew. It took her big dino tooth a long time to appear. Just like
Mammasaurus had said, one day she saw a brand new tooth. It was bigger then
all the other teeth. Knip was very happy. Then she noticed that another
tooth was a little loose. That meant that another big tooth was on it's
way.

The Pink Girl Story

There once was a little pink girl named Rosa Priss. She had pink curls in
her hair with a pretty pink bow. She always wore pink dresses with matching
pink shoes. Christmas was coming soon. Rosa's mom and dad asked her what
she wanted for Christmas. Rosa thought about it for a while. There were a
lot of things that she wanted, but most of all she wanted a special toy.
She went and told her parents that what she wanted more then anything else
was a pink dinosaur toy. They told her that she would have to wait until
Christmas to see if that's what she got. The days went by slowly despite
the fact that her mom and dad kept talking about how fast the year was
flying by. Not to Rosa it wasn't. Finally after a lifetime of waiting it
was Christmas morning. Little Miss Priss couldn't wait to open her present.
She was so excited. She ran to the tree and found the gift that said Rosa
on the tag. It was wrapped up very pretty. It took Rosa all of 1.7 seconds
to destroy the wrapping paper and open the box. Inside the box was a little
pink dinosaur just like she had wanted. She picked it up and gave it a
super big hug. Then she spun it around in her arms. Rosa was happy to have
a pink dinosaur toy. She named him Mr. Pink and they became best friends.

The Dark Story

One night it was really dark outside. It was time for the little girl to go
to bed. She wasn't scared though because she was a big girl. Her Mommy and
daddy came in and kissed her good-night. Daddy laid down and he told her a
story. He kissed her good-night and then he left the room.

That's when the little girl noticed how dark it was in her room. She heard
a little noise and she didn't know what it was. She started getting a
little scared. Then she remembered that she had a purple butterfly nigh
light. She reached up and turned it on. The night light let out just enough
light that she wasn't scared any more. She snuggled up with her pink teddy
bear. Whenever she heard a little noise that she thought might be something
scary she just turned on her butterfly night light. It made her feel nice
and safe.

Pretty soon she fell fast asleep. The next thing she knew her Mommy was
waking her up in the morning saying, "Good morning. I love you." It was
pretty dark that night, but it was okay because she had been safe and sound
inside her home.

The Giraffe Story

One uponce a time there was a giraffe named Gracie. She was spotted just
like the other giraffes. She had cute little horns on her head just like
the other giraffes. The only thing that made her different from the other
giraffes was her height. She had short legs and a very short neck. She was
about half as tall as the other giraffes. None of the giraffes made fun of
Gracie for being so short. She still wished that she was a little taller
though, just so she would look like everyone else.

One day all the giraffes were eating leaves in a large group of trees that
they had found. The taller giraffes would break off limbs and pass them
down to Gracie so she could eat with them. Gracie was wondering what it
would be like to be so tall. All of the giraffes had their heads up in the
trees. It must be beautiful up there Gracie thought to herself. She was
upset as she looked around at her surroundings down on the ground.

That's when she noticed a lion creeping close to her group. It was crawling
under the bushes so the giraffes wouldn't see it. Because Gracie was so
short she could see the lion. The other giraffes all had their heads up in
the trees completely unaware. Gracie yelled, "Run! There's a lion." All the
giraffes took off running including Gracie. The lion was fast but too far
away to catch the giraffes.

Once they were safe all the giraffes started thanking Gracie for saving
their lives. If it wasn't for Gracie being so short the lion would have
gotten one of the giraffes for sure. Gracie realized that being different
can sometimes be a good thing.

The Puppy And The Butterfly Story

There once was a puppy that loved to chase butterflies. He would run and
jump as they flew around in the air.

One day while he was butterfly chasing he saw a beautiful purple one flying
around. He ran and jumped and knocked the butterfly to the ground. Puppy
didn't intend on catching the butterfly, he just wanted to chase it. It was
an accident and he was very sorry. The butterfly had hurt it's wing when
the puppy knocked it to the ground. It tried to fly but couldn't. The puppy
felt awful. Puppy picked the butterfly up and put a bandage on it's wing.
The butterfly moved it's wing and it could fly again. The puppy apologized
for hurting the butterfly and then let it fly away. From then on the puppy
was more careful around other animals.

One Sick Story

Sometimes when you get really sick you wonder why you feel so bad.
This is what's actually happening in the words of dear old dad.

It starts when the Germus Infetator Squirmus slips inside your head.
He scratches your throat with his icky spine groat and turns it a festering
red.

Blisters appear from the front to the rear all along the top of your
tongue.
Inside the blisters live pus coated Sluglisters that ooze down into your
lungs.

Once inside your lungs the Sluglisters have fun by excreting their
mucustorous muck.
The muck multiplies an alarming surprise until it forms a Cloglundering
Guck.

Gucks need fresh air to do their despair so they work their way into your
nose.
They turn clusters of gloop into slimelippery sloop and that's the way that
it grows.

Flemmating Snogbugglers join the Gugticklers and cause your nose to run.
They party and dance and happily prance because that's what they do for
fun.

Your eyes get all puffy from the Lugscrufflys and then they turn red and
get sore.
Then on your eyes forms a crust on the sides from the Crustaceous
Gloraceous Fanore.

Inside your tummy grow Putrid Gasglumys that rumble and grumble and snore.
They grow very fast containing their gas until they explode on the floor.

You cough and you sneeze, spreading decease to all of the people you've
seen.
So cover your mouth if you let out a spout and wash your hands super clean.

I hope you get better soon. Love you Ava.

Sparkles And The Nana Monster

One uponce a time there was a little monster named Sparkles. She was super
excited because today she was going to get to see her Nana Monster. Nana
Monster was Mommy Monster's Mommy. Nana Monster Had a green face with crazy
spiral eyes. She would always chase Sparkles around the lair.

When Nana Monster finally showed up Sparkles was especially happy because
Nana Monster brought ice-cream. If there is one thing that monsters like
it's ice-cream. Sparkles, her little brother Tarantula, and her big sister
Seek all sat down with Nana Monster and ate a big bowl of ice-cream for
dinner. They put lady bug sprinkles and chocolate gloop syrup on top. It
was very good ice-cream. Mostly because it was free, and everyone knows
that free food always tastes better.

After the three little monsters ate up all of Nana Monster's ice-cream she
chased them around and around for a very long time. She chased them around
until they all fell asleep under her spell, or they were tired, not sure
which.

Then Nana Monster carried all the little monsters to their beds. She licked
them good-night and off she flew into the night.

When Sparkles woke up the next morning she called Nana Monster and thanked
her for the ice-cream and chasings. Sparkles was using her good maners by
thanking Nana Monster. She had a fun time with Nana Monster and hoped that
she would see her again real soon.

The Cry Baby Story

One uponce a time there was a little monster named Sparkles. Any time she
didn't get what she wanted she would throw a fit and cry. She was not using
her good manners when she acted like this.

If she wanted something to drink and Mommy brought her juice instead of
milk, she would cry. If she wanted to play and daddy said it was time to
take a bath, she would cry. If Mommy said that she would read a bedtime
story and Sparkles wanted to hear two stories, she would cry. It got to the
point that Sparkles was throwing fits and crying about everything. She was
acting like her baby brother Tarantula. Tarantula cried a lot, but he was
still a baby. He couldn't talk yet and he didn't know any better. Sparkles
did know better, she was just being bad.

So Mommy and daddy decided they were not going to put up with it any
longer. If she cried about what they gave her to drink then she got bug
juice. If she cried about taking a bath, then she had to take two baths. If
she cried about how many stories they read to her then she wouldn't get to
hear any stories at all.

This was not fun for Sparkles. She didn't like this one little bit. Sparkles
realized that if she was nice and used her good manners then she would get
to do more fun things. Plus she was happier because she wasn't pouting all
the time. From then on Sparkles only cried if she was hurt. That way Mommy
and daddy would know if something was really wrong. All of the monsters were
a lot happier now that Sparkles was using good manners.

The Bad Hare Day Story

Hoppsy Hare was having a bad day.
First he had lost a race to a slow moving Turtle. He still couldn't figure
out how.
Then some kids had chased him around trying to cut off his foot for good
luck. Hoppsy decided that if he ever found the person that started that
rumor he was going to give them a piece of his mind.
Finally he thought he would spend the rest of the day playing with his
friends. The only problem was none of his friends were home.He went by
Peter Rabbit's house. He went by Peter Cottontail's house. He even went by
Velveteen's house, but none of them were home.
This was a bad day for Hoppsy Hare indeed. He hopped around trying to find
something to do. Everywhere he went people kept saying, "Sorry about the
race Hoppsy". Then they would laugh at him. He just wished everyone would
forget about it.
He decided to go hide in his favorite rabbit hole until it was time for
bed. When he got there he was greeted by his three best friends.
"Where have you been?" Velveteen asked. "Hurry inside, we have a surprise
for you".
Hoppsy hurried inside only to find the Turtle that had beaten him in the
race earlier that day. This was the last person he wanted to see.
Peter R. said, "Tell him" to Turtle.
Turtle looked embarrassed. He finally said, "Well, I kind of cheated in the
race.
"Tell him the rest of it Turtle" Peter C. said.
Turtle told his story. He was still getting made fun of for the other day
when he thought he had lost his shell. Turtle thought that if he could beat
Hoppsy in a race then everyone would stop making fun of him, and start
making fun of Hoppsy. Before the race Turtle had put some sleeping pills in
Hoppsy's carrot juice and the rest of the story Hoppsy already knew. Turtle
asked, "Do you want to race again tomorrow so everyone can see that you are
faster"?
Hoppsy thought about it and then said "No" to everyone's surprise. Hoppsy
actually felt a little sorry for Turtle. He decided that just knowing that
he would have won the race was good enough for him. It didn't matter what
everyone else though, as long as he knew the truth. Hoppsy learned a very important lesson that day, that you
should never trust a Turtle.

Hoppsy Hare's bad day turned out to be a good day after all.

The Donkey Story

One uponce a time there was a little Donkey. He had big floppy ears and a
detachable tail. He kept losing his tail. He looked everywhere for his tail
one day but he couldn't find it anywhere. He decided to ask his friends to
help him look for his tail. All of Donkey's friends went looking for his
tail. At last they found Donkey's tail. They tried to put it back on Donkey
but they didn't know how to make it stick. Then one of the friends but some
bubble gum on Donkey's tail and stuck it to Donkey's bobo. The bubble gum
worked for a little while but not forever. So whenever any of Donkey's
friends would find his tail they would put some bubble gum on it and go pin
it back on Donkey. It became a pretty fun game. All of Donkey's friends
were always looking for his tail. Sometimes they would find it in the
strangest places. Then they would have to go find Donkey. Everyone lived
playing.

The Sheep And Her Friends Story

Sheep was a very happy animal. She had a lot of friends on the farm. They
were like one big happy family.

Then one day the farmer took sheep away. He gave her a funny looking hair
cut. In fact, he cut all of her beautiful curly hair off completely. Sheep
loved her hair and she felt strange without it. She knew that the other
animals would make fun of her because she looked so funny now. When the
farmer took her back to her stall she hurriedly scurried inside before
anyone could see her. It wasn't too long before Horse and Goat came looking
for her. "Hey Sheep, are you in there?" Horse asked.

She replied "Yes. I'm in here. I don't feel so good though. I think I'm
going to sleep a little while longer."

"Okay", said Horse, "I hope you get to feeling better. We'll see you soon".

It was true. They were all going to see her at some point. It was also
true that Sheep didn't feel good. She wasn't physically sick but she didn't
feel good about herself at all.

It wasn't long before Duck and Cow came looking for he too. Then Mouse.
Then Pig and his little spider friend. Sheep gave the same excuse every
time. She felt bad about telling all the animals that she needed more sleep
when it was really that she didn't want them to see her.

Finally Sheep decided that she was going to have to be a big girl and face
the animals at some point. It might as well be now. She took a deep breath
and walked out into the barnyard.

As soon as Goose saw Sheep she yelled, "Hello Sheep. Are you feeling
better"? All of the animals came running over to her. They were all looking
at her.

Nervously she said, "I guess I'm feeling a little better".

Horse said "We were all so very worried about you".

"You were?" Sheep asked.

"Oh yeah" replied Mouse "We are so glad that you feel better".

Sheep noticed that none of them had mentioned her bad hair cut. She decided
to confess. She said "Well I was really just embarrassed for everyone to
see me with all my hair cut off".

Cow said, "We don't care what you look like Sheep. We all love you for who
you are, not how you look."

"You will always be beautiful to us Sheep" Pig added.

This made Sheep feel a lot better. She realized that family loves you for
who you are no matter what. They all spent the rest of the day playing
together. It was just like it had always been, but a little colder.

The Mad Monster Story

Zodiac was a very mad monster. He opened his mouth big and roared as loud
as he could. Someone had taken his blue toy truck and he wanted it back
right now. He didn't know who it was but he had a good idea.

He stormed up to his brother Rinker and said, "You took my blue truck and I
want it back right now" then he roared again.

Rinker just laughed and said, "I don't have your blue truck. See, all I
have is my red truck".

Zodiac was now madder then before. He started kicking things and yelling as
loud as he could.

All of the commotion drew the attention of Mommy monster. She came into the
room and saw little Zodiac destroying the place. She calmly went over to
Zodiac and asked him what was wrong.

He tried to tell his Mommy that he couldn't find his blue truck. He was so
mad that it all came out in growls and snarls though.

Mommy monster said, "I can't understand anything that you are saying. You
need to go sit in time out until you can calm down."

This made Zodiac even madder then before. He went to the corner and sat
down as hard as he could. He held his breath until his face turned red. He
growled and grumbled some more. Not loud enough for Mommy to hear though.
He was mad and he wasn't going to get unmad any time soon. So he sat, and
he sat, and he sat. While he sat there he thought about what had happened.
He wanted his blue truck but he knew that he shouldn't have acted like he
did. He might have overreacted just a little. As he sat there he began to
calm down. He didn't know how long he had sat there but he was sure it was
about three years. He was now calm and could talk without growling.

Mommy monster came back and asked, "Are you ready to talk to me"?

Zodiac nodded his head yes. He was a little ashamed of how he had acted. He
told his Mommy that someone had taken his blue truck. Mommy said, "First I
think that you need to go tell your brother that you're sorry".

Zodiac went over to Rinker and said, "You're sorry". He turned and looked
at Mommy. She was not amused. He turned back to Rinker and corrected, "I
mean I'm sorry. I shouldn't have acted like that."

Then Zodiac turned and walked back to his Mommy. She said, "Now that you
are calm I will help you look for it". Where was the last place that you
saw it"?

Zodiac thought and said, "In my bed". They walked over there together.
There it was, safe and sound in his bed. Zodiac told his Mommy that he was
sorry and gave her a kiss. Zodiac was going to try to control his temper
from now on.

The Monster Story

One uponce a time there was a big hairy monster named Grumpo Grumon.
Everyone was scared of Grumpo. He was always mad and if anyone tried to
talk to him he would yell and scream at them. Everyone tried to stay out of
his way.

Until one day when little Nicie Wicie saw Grumpo grumbling along. She was
the cutest little bitty monster, probably the smallest in all of Monsterton
City. Nicie decided to go cheer up Grumpo. She walked over to him and said,
"Good morning. My name is Nicie. What is your name"?

All of the monsters that were close by stopped to watch Grumpo's reaction.

As usual, he started yelling. "Leave me alone!! I don't want to talk to anyone."

Nicie started crying and ran away. The next day Nicie saw Grumpo standing
in the same spot. She walked up to him, but this time she didn't say
anything. She just stood there in silence. When Grumpo finally looked down
at her she handed him a cup with something in it. He took the cup and
looked at it for a long time.

All of the monsters were watching to see what Grumpo would do.

After looking at the cup for a long time Grumpo decided to go ahead and
drink it.

Like magic as soon as Grumpo drank what was in the cup he started feeling
happier. He also started shrinking. He was getting smaller and smaller.

The other monsters watched in amazement.

He shrunk until he was the same size as Nicie. He didn't know what was in
the cup but Grumpo felt happy. He also wanted to play. Grumpo and Nicie
spent the rest of the day playing together and with the other monsters. The
next morning though, the old Grumpo was back. Big and mean and cranky as
ever. That is until Nicie was able to give him her magic drink. Grumpo
drank the gift and turned into a playful happy monster.

This was the way it was from then on. Grumpo would wake up grouchy. He
would drink the magic drink that Nicie would bring him. Then he was nice
and happy for the whole day.

One day another monster asked Nicie what was in the cup. She replied,
"Coffee. What, you don't think this is what I look like first thing in the
morning, do you?""

The New Dr. Story

Dr. New was busy. He was helping people that were sick get better. He
always had time for his favorite little patient though. Hannah had gone to
see Dr. New and it was a fun trip. She wasn't scared of the doctor any
more. Now she was back but she had brought her cat Snuffles with
her.Snuffles had been moaning all day and Hannah was worried about her. Dr.
New came in to see Hannah. She asked if he could make het cat feel better.
Dr. New wasn't a veterinarian. A veterinarian is a doctor that sees animals
instead of people. Little Hannah's face looked so worried that Dr. New
decided to at least look at Snuffles and see what might be wrong. She told
Dr. New that Snuffles had been moaning all day like she was in pain. The
doctor felt around on Snuffles tummy. Sure enough she started moaning just
like Hannah had said. Dr. New told Hannah that Snuffles was pregnant and
was about to have kittens. Hannah was excited. Just then Snuffles let out a
loud meow and out came a little kitten. Then she did it again and another
kitten emerged. By the time Snuffles was done she had given birth to five
little kittens. Hannah thanked Dr. New and then hurried home to show her
Mommy and daddy. Hannah had gone to the doctor with a sick cat, she
thought, and had come home with a happy cat and five healthy kittens. What
a wonderful visit to the doctor.

The Dr. Story

There once was a doctor named New. He took care of all the little boys and
girls. He would look at them when they were sick and give them medicine to
help them get better.

One day there was a little girl named Hannah that needed to go see Dr. New.
She didn't know what to expect so she was a little scared. Her Mommy and
daddy told her that it was going to be okay. She was still scared though.

There were a lot of children waiting to see the doctor. Some of them looked
sick, some of them looked fine. Her Mommy told her that you can't always
tell if someone is sick by looking at them.

The nurse came into the waiting room and called for Hannah to come back. It
was time for her to see the doctor. Her Mommy and daddy went with her. They
went into another room to wait a little longer. Hannah was still worried
about seeing Dr. New.

Then the door opened and in came Dr. New. He was really tall, like a
basketball player. He sat down and started talking to Hannah. He asked her
some questions about her favorite food and what kind of games she liked to
play. He looked in her ears. He looked in her mouth. He looked at her eyes.
He picked her up and spun her around. He tickled her tummy. Then he gave
them a prescription for some medicine and said good-by.

Hannah was done. She had been scared for nothing. The doctor visit was over
and Hannah wasn't scared of the doctor any more.

Her daddy said that the most painful part of the doctor visit was the bill,
but that was just silly. Paying a bill doesn't hurt.

The Leopard The Cat And The Monkey Story

leopard and she was the biggest. Next there was a black cat and she was
little bitty. Finally there was a monkey. The leopard and the cat couldn't
understand anything that the monkey said, but he was cute so they didn't
mind.
One night when the moon was full and the air was cool the three animals
were hungry. Even the leopard was hungry and she didn't eat very often. The
monkey was always hungry. He ate all the time.
They decided to go out and find some food. They didn't know where to look
so they went to the neighbors house. They rang the doorbell. When he
answered the door they asked "Do you know where we can get some food"?
He said "Hold on just one second" and walked back into his house. When he
returned he handed each of the three animals a bag with two pieces of candy
in it.
They thanked him and then each gobbled one of the pieces of candy up. They
left one in their bags.
Then they went to the next house and the same thing happened. They kept
doing this until it was really late. By the end of the night they all had a
bag full of candy, and their tummy's were full too. They went back home and
had enough candy to last for the rest of the year.

Five Hungry Sharks

Five hungry sharks were swimming by a ship
Looking for one crewman to slip
They found a quiet one named Skip
Then one shark went for a dip

Four anxious sharks were swimming in the sea
Looking for where they wanted to be
They found a quiet place to pee
Then one shark got away and was free

Three happy sharks were swimming one day
Looking for some place fun to play
They found a quiet spot in the bay
Then one shark met a sting ray

Two mean sharks were swimming one night
Looking for any little fish to incite
They found a quiet place for a bite
Then one shark went too far out of sight

One lonely shark was swimming all alone
Looking for any new place to roam
He found a quiet cave to call his own
Then he invited all the sharks to his home

The Shark Story

Ty was a big shark. He was bigger then most of the fish in the ocean. He
was dark grey on his back and white on his under side. He had really sharp
teeth and he looked very scary. Ty was actually a really nice shark. He
wasn't like the other sharks. It didn't really matter though. When ever a
fish saw Ty they always swam away. No one would ever give him a chance.
That was fine with Ty, he didn't mind being alone. It gave him time to
think.

One day while he was out swimming he had gotten a fisherman's hook caught
in his mouth. It hurt real bad and there was nothing that he could do about
it. He thought that if he could talk to a small fish, and not scare it
away, then the fish might be able to get the hook out for him. The only
problem with this plan was, whenever he saw a fish it would always swim
away from him. Usually as fast as it could. Then if he did talk to one how
was he going to convince a fish to swim into his mouth.

He headed out into the open waters hoping that he might find a nice
understanding fish to help him. As usual, as soon as the first fish saw him
it yelled, "SHARK" and all the other fish scattered.

His mouth was hurting really bad. Ty swam around for a long time hoping
that some fish would come back.

Then he saw a little sea horse swimming all by itself. Ty swam up behind
the sea horse. He started to ask the little sea horse for help but then he
heard the sea horse was crying. Ty shut his mouth and thought about what to
say. This poor little guy was sad and Ty was scared that if he spoke to the
sea horse that he would just scare the little guy.

Then he decided that he would at least try to be a good friend and find out
what was wrong. As soon as he opened his mouth to speak again something hit
him from the side. It was an octopus. She wrapped her legs around Ty's
mouth and yelled, "SWIM!! Swim away little fella".

Ty then realized what was going on. The octopus thought that he was going
to eat the little sea horse. The octopus was trying to save the little guy.
What a sweet thing to do Ty thought to himself. Ty tried to tell them what
was going on but his mouth was held shut by the octopus. The sea horse
turned and with one look at Ty it swam away as fast as it could. Ty tried
and tried to open his mouth so he could explain the situation. He could
feel the octopus was losing her grip. Then she let go with all of her arms
and kicked him right were the hook was. It hurt so bad that Ty wanted to
cry.

Then he realized that when the octopus had kicked him that the hook had
become dislodged. He felt it loose in his mouth. He spit out the hook and
saw the octopus swimming away. He tried to catch her and thank her, but she
was too fast. He also wanted to tell the little sea horse what was actually
going on. They were both gone though. At least the hook was no longer stuck
in his mouth. Ty just swam away alone. Like he always did.

The Little Lost Roach

There once was a family of roaches
All nine hundred children where closest
They scurry at night, and stay out of sight
Anytime someone approaches

One night when they needed to eat
They tried to be so discreet
The pickings were lean, the kitchen was clean
They couldn't find anything sweet

Then all of a sudden there was light
They hurried and ran out of sight
The light switch clicked on, they were all gone
Except for their brother Dwight

No one knew where Dwight was at
They feared he was seen by the cat
They all stopped and prayed, that Dwight was okay
Then all they heard was a "SPLAT!!"

The Sea Horse Story

There once lived a sea horse named Mar. He was orange with little yellow and brown spots. He was also very little for such a big ocean.

Mar was very excited about today. It was the first day that he was going to get to play with the big sea horses out in the open waters of the ocean. His mom and dad always told him that he was too little to play with the big sea horses. They were worried that he might get hurt. After trying to convince them for weeks they finally said he could go. He was running late and was afraid that the others might have already started playing without him.

He swam out into the open waters but he didn't see the other sea horses. In fact, he didn't see any fish at all. Then he thought that maybe the other sea horses didn't want to play with him. Maybe they told him to come out here but they were going to play somewhere else. Thinking about that made Mar sad and he started to cry. "Why would they not want to play with me?" he thought. He was all alone out in the open waters so he didn't have to worry about anyone seeing him cry.

Mar was so consumed with his thoughts that he didn't notice a big shark was behind him. The shark started to open his mouth.

Then out of nowhere an octopus swam up and wrapped herself around the shark's mouth. She yelled at Mar, "SWIM!! Swim away little fella".

Mar was startled by the yelling. He turned around just long enough to see the octopus fighting with the shark. That was all he needed to see. Mar swam as fast as his little fins would take him. There was some coral close by. He swam towards the safety of it's cover. When he got closer to it he could hear yelling. He looked around and saw the other sea horses. One of them yelled, "In here Mar". He swam into an opening and found all of his friends. They weren't hiding from him, they were hiding from the big shark. Mar felt bad for thinking his friends didn't want to play with him.

They all stayed quiet until the shark was gone. Then all the sea horses started asking things like, "Are you alright?" and "What was it like being that close to a shark?" and "Who was that octopus that saved you?". It was nice to know that his friends did care. Mar only wished that he could thank the octopus that saved him.

The Octopus Story

Deep in the ocean lived an octopus named Opha. She was light blue with a soft pink belly. She had eight arms and was a very fast swimmer.

Opha was swimming along one day and she noticed that the water had gotten very quiet. There where usually fish swimming and talking everywhere. Opha didn't hear anything. She started looking around and noticed that there were no fish in sight. That was strange for such a big ocean.

Then she heard a soft crying. She looked around and noticed a single sea horse. She started swimming over towards him. She was going to ask him why he was crying.

Then she noticed a big dark figure behind him. She knew instantly that it was a shark. Then she realized why the ocean had become so quiet. All the fish were hiding from the shark. They were all scared of the shark. Opha saw the shark heading towards the little sea horse. He was all alone. He didn't hear the shark coming because he was crying.

Opha swam as fast as she could towards the sea horse and shark that was fast approaching. She was getting closer, but so was the shark. She saw the shark start to open his mouth then he closed it. She didn't know why the shark had paused but she was glad he had. He was right behind the sea horse. The sea hoarse never even knew the shark was there. Opha swam even faster. The shark was opening his mouth again.

Before the shark had a chance to open his mouth all the way Opha was there. She wrapped her eight legs around the sharks mouth and pulled it shut. She yelled at the little sea horse, "SWIM!! Swim away little fella". The sea horse turned and saw Opha fighting with the shark. He swam as fast as his little fins would take him. The shark kept trying to open his mouth. He was very strong and Opha couldn't hold on much longer.

As soon as she saw that the sea horse was far enough away and safe she made her own escape. She let go with all of her legs at the same time. Then she kicked as hard as she could with all of her legs right in the side of the sharks mouth. The shark paused for just a second. That was all the time Opha needed. She swam as fast as she could. After a second the shark started chasing her but she was too fast for the shark. She swam away and was safe from the shark in no time. She never saw the little sea horse again but it made her feel good to do something so big for someone else.

The Day Turtle Lost His Shell

There once was a cute little turtle with a very pretty shell. He lived in a
pond under an old oak tree. One morning when he woke up he noticed that his
shell was missing. He had his shell on when he went to bed. He didn't know
what had happened to it.

He asked Mr. Frog, "Have you seen my shell"?

Mr. Frog said, "No, you should ask Mr. Fish. He croaked and jumped along
his way.

Turtle didn't know where to look, so he went and found Mr. Fish. Turtle
said, "Hello Mr. Fish. Have you seen my shell today"?

"No I haven't". said Mr. Fish, You should ask Mr. Snake". Then he swam
away.

Turtle was starting to get sad. He was worried that he might never see his
shell again. Turtle found Mr. Snake and asked him, "Mr. Snake, have you
seen my shell"?

"Sorry Turtle, I haven't seen your shell" replied Mr. Snake. "Have you
asked Mrs. Bird? She might have seen it".

"No I haven't. Thank you anyway Mr. Snake".

Turtle swam over to the old oak tree. Then he started to cry. He knew that
he wasn't going to find his shell.

Then from above Mrs. Bird asked, "Why are you crying Turtle"?

Turtle told her that he lost his shell and couldn't find it anywhere. Mrs.
Bird started laughing. "Why are you laughing at me"? Turtle asked Mrs.
Bird. "Is it because I look funny with no shell"?

Mrs. Bird smiled and said, "No. I'm laughing because your shell is on your
back".

Turtle turned and looked. "I don't see it", he told Mrs. Bird.

Then she asked "Have you ever seen your shell"?

Turtle thought about it. He thought and thought some more, but he didn't
ever remember seeing his shell. "No, I don't think I have" he replied.

Mrs. Bird said, "It's been on your back the whole time. You just can't turn
your head far enough to see it".

Turtle felt silly about the whole thing then. He had made a big deal over
nothing. He thanked Mrs. Bird and swam off to show everyone his pretty
shell.

and she bounced through her dinner. She bounced all the time. She loved to
bounce. Her Mommy and daddy thought that she bounced too much.

It was Fuff's birthday. Fuff's Mommy and daddy had a surprise party for
her. She was extra bouncy that day. When she opened her gift it was a brand
new pair of shoes. They were very pretty and starkly. She put the shoes on
and didn't bounce any more.

From that day on she ran everywhere she went. She ran super fast in the
morning. She ran super fast at lunch. She ran when she was playing. She
even ran when it was time to go to bed.

feel all tired and weak. She couldn't go outside and play with her friends
any more. She had to stay in bed and rest all day. All of her friends and
family prayed that little Lilly would get better soon. Her parents were

too tired to play but she enjoyed watching the other lady bugs play. She

The New Bed Bug Story

Grumbly and Ritz were a couple of bed bugs. They were best friends.

One morning when they woke up they were down by the giants feet. It was
horribly smelly down there. They decided to make their way up to the giants
head. The smell had to be better then by it's feet. On the way up they
started hearing a roaring noise. When they got to the giants head they
realized that the giant was snoring. That's what the noise was.

Grumbly and Ritz decided to have a little fun. They climbed up onto the
giants face and when the giant breathed out it blew them up into the air.
It was very fun. They did it a lot. It was one of their favorite games.
Then one time while they were waiting to get blown into the air Grumbly
stepped too close to the giant's nose. The giant sneezed. The sneeze blew
them both into the air but also covered both of them with a spray of spit.
It was disgusting. That was the last time they ever played that game.

The Bed Bug Story

There were two little bed bugs that lived on cotton sheets. One bug was
green and hairy and his name was Grumbly. The other bug was yellow with
three eyes and his name was Ritz. They were best friends. They did
everything together. There was a giant that slept in the bed at night.
Every time the giant would move it was like an earthquake for the little
bed bugs. They would fly up into the air and bounce all about. It was very
scary because they never knew where they were going to land. Sometimes they
would land on the other side of the bed. A few times one of them would even
land on the giant. It was also scary because sometimes the giant would
scratch and slap itself while it was asleep.

This particular night was about to change everything forever. The giant
was tossing and turning all night long. Grumbly and Ritz were having a hard
time just staying on the bed. The giant stretched out it's big long leg
and.... it happened.

The giant put it's leg right on top of Ritz. Ritz started screaming for
help. Grumbly tried to lift the giant leg but it was too heavy. Ritz was
being crushed and there was nothing Grumbly could do about it. Ritz kept
yelling "Help me! Help me!". Finally with no other choice available Grumbly
took charge. He did the only thing that he could think of. He opened his
mouth as wide as he could and he bit the giant leg.

In that split second that followed two things happened. One, the giant
lifted its leg freeing Ritz. Two, the giant let out a scream so loud that
it woke up all of the other giants. Bigger giants came thundering into the
room. It took forever for the screaming giant to quieten down.

From that night on when it was time for the giant to sleep one of the
bigger giants would say "Good-night, sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs
bite".

Grumbly and Ritz would smile at each other. Then Grumbly would say "That's
right, I might. If you attack my buddy Ritz tonight".

They don't like my toot today.

What is that smell, is it here to stay?

Twink The Little Star

One uponce a time up high in the sky lived a little star named Twinkle.
Everyone just called him Twink though. All of the stars in the sky were
shining that night. They were all shining except Twink. Twink didn't feel
like shining. He felt all alone up in the big open sky. He was very sad. If
a star is sad then they don't glow very brightly at all. Poor little Twink
just didn't have the strength to glow that night. He tried and tried but
just wouldn't glow like the rest of the stars. He knew that the people on
Earth watched the stars. That's why the stars have to glow. He felt sad and
none of the other stars even noticed. Then the moon asked Twink if
everything was okay. The moon saw that Twink wasn't glowing very bright and
he was worried about little Twink. It made Twink feel loved to know that
someone cared about him. It made him feel good to know that if he didn't
glow then he would be missed. From that night on Twink glowed the brightest
out of all the stars. He was happy to have a friend like the moon.

One night the moon was bright.
All the stars were shining light.
It was such a very pretty sight.

Twink wished he may, he wished he might.
His glowing wasn't very bright.
It was not a constant pretty light.

His brightness seemed to come and go.
Down below the Earth so low.
He didn't think his glow would show.

He wanted to be a precious stone.
Instead of cold and all alone.

Just like a diamond high in cost.
Nothing more then a shinny rock.

Then the moon said from afar.
I wonder Twink just how you are.
Because you are my favorite star.

That brought a tear to Twink's eye.
He shined so hard with all his might.
To be the brightest in the sky's night.

Now when you look up at the stars.
When you wonder what they are.
You won't have to wonder far.

If you see a star that starts to blink.
He's the brightest star I think.
You will know his name is Twink.

The New Princess Story

One uponce a time in a castle long ago lived two princesses. Their names
were Auna and Eba. One day the princesses were playing in a magical cave
they had found. They were playing hide-and-go-seek with their troll
friends.

Eba was hiding in a dark cave, so they couldn't find her. She heard
someone coming so she slowly crept backwards watching the front of the
cave. As she was walking backwards she stepped into a giant spider web. It
was the biggest spider web that she had ever seen. She tried to pull free
but she was stuck tight where she stood. She heard a noise and looked up.
There hanging above her head was the webs owner. A big hairy spider. He was
climbing towards her. She was so terrified that she couldn't even scream
for help. He jumped and spun and landed on the ground in front of her. He
was as tall as she was. He smiled and said "I am Zen the spider king. What
is your name little girl"?

She could still barely speak. Slowly she said "I am Eba from the castle
above this cave".

Zen smiled even bigger and asked "Are you one of the princess sisters"?

"Yes I am" replied Eba. She saw Zen crouch and then jump towards her. She closed her eyes. She
felt the web shake from where he landed in it. Then she didn't feel stuck
any more. She opened her eyes and saw that Zen had cut her out of his web.
She was surprised, She said "I thought you were going to eat me".

Zen laughed and said "First of all, princesses are too sour. Most
importantly though, I am old friends with your father the King. He saved my
life once. Run along little princess. Oh, and please do tell your father
that I said hello!" He smiled one more time and then scurried back into his
web.

Eba was very excited to tell Auna about the nice spider King she had met.
They said good-by to their troll friends and hurried home. Eba couldn't
wait to tell their dad that she had met an old friend of his.

The Fairy Story

One uponce a time there was a fairy tree that grew out of the middle of a
lake in a magical cave. There were a lot of fairies that lived in the tree.
There was one little fairy that just didn't fit in with the rest of the
fairies. Her name was Alura. She didn't want to go play fairy games. Alura
just wanted to sit alone and read. She loved a good book in a quiet place.
Her favorite book was "One Uponce A Time". It was written by a very strong
daddy that loved his children more then anything. While all of the other
fairies were out flying around doing fairy things Alura would lose herself
in those amazing stories.

Then one day a young fairy asked Alura what she was going to do that day.
Alura told the young fairy that she was going to read a story. The young
fairy didn't know how to read yet, so she asked Alura if she would read a
story to her. Alura had never read a story to anyone before, but how could
she say no to such a precious little fairy. They found a nice quiet place
at the top of fairy tree. Alura told the young fairy a story about a green
toad. The young fairy enjoyed the story a lot. After the story was over the
young fairy thanked Alura and went off to play.

The next morning when Alura was going out to read her book she noticed that
there was a lot of activity around the top of the tree. She flew up and saw
all of the young fairies talking excitedly. She asked what was going on.
The young fairy from the day before told her that they were all waiting to
hear a story. Alura was a little embarrassed because there were so many
young fairies waiting to hear her story. She sat down and told them a
story. They were all very happy. Every morning she would tell stories to
all the fairies. They all looked forward to her stories as much as she did.
From that day on Alura was no longer the little fairy that kept to herself.
Now she was the story telling fairy.

The Troll Story

There once was an orange haired troll named Grerro. He lived in a cave
with a lot of other amazing creatures. One day he found out just how
amazing those other creatures really were.

Grerro was playing by the big lake. He was watching the mermaids chase
the fish in a game of fast fin. All of a sudden he heard crying coming from
deeper in the cave. It sounded like someone was hurt. He ran towards the
direction the crying had come from. It started getting louder and louder.
Then he saw a little fairy laying on the ground crying. Grerro asked "What
is wrong little fairy"?

She replied "I hurt my wing and I don't know how I'm going to get home".

Grerro picked her up very carefully so he didn't hurt her wing. He said
"I'll take you home little friend". Grerro started walking back toward the
fairy tree that grew out of the middle of the lake. When he got to the lake
he realized that he couldn't swim with the fairy in his hands. He didn't
know what to do. Just then a mermaid swam by chasing a red-tailed snipper
fish. Grerro asked the mermaid "Do you know how I can get this little fairy
home to the fairy tree. The mermaid swam away really fast. Grerro thought
that maybe she didn't hear him. Then just as quickly as she swam away she
swam back with all of the other mermaids.

She said "We will take you to the fairy tree Mr. Troll". All of the
mermaids grabbed arms and made a little raft. It was just big enough for
Grerro to sit on. Once he was sitting on the mermaid raft they swam towards
the fairy tree.

Once they made it to the tree Grerro realized that he couldn't climb the
tree with the fairy in his hands. He looked at the little fairy and said
"I'm sorry but I don't know how to get you up in your tree.

The fairy sang a little song and the tree started moving. It was all of
the fairies coming down to help carry her into her tree. They all lifted
her from Grerro's hands very slowly. Before she left she said "Thank you"
to Grerro and the mermaids. The mermaids took Grerro back to the land and
he thanked them again for their help. Grerro felt good. Because everyone
cared so much and was so helpful the little fairy made it home safe and
sound.

The Castle Story

One uponce a time in the Collins Kingdom far away (Davis, Oklahoma) there sat an old stone castle. The Collins Kingdom covered all of the Arbuckle Mountains. The castle rested beside a wonderful waterfall. Inside the castle lived a King, the Queen, and their beautiful daughters Auna and Eba.

One day while the princesses were playing they found a cave at the base of the castle. They decided to explore the cave. Once they were under the castle the cave opened up into a huge cavern. There were fireflies and glowing moss that lit the place up like a summer day. They saw fairies flying around. They saw trolls with crazy looking hair. There was a huge lake in the center with mermaids. There were thousands of butterflies and ladybugs. It was a magical place. The princesses had never seen a place so beautiful before. The entire place was alive with creatures and bright colored plants. The princesses played all day with the fairies and trolls. They swam with the mermaids. It was so much fun.

The princesses were getting hungry now and knew that they had to go back home. They promised to come back and play whenever they got a chance. An orange haired troll showed them a set of stone steps that were carved out of the wall. The princesses went up the steps until they reached a door. They went through the door and it led them into their closet. It was a secret passage to the magic land below the castle. Now they could go there and play whenever they wanted.

The New Little Cow Story

One uponce a time there was a cow named Little Tex. He lived in Farmville
with a lot of different kinds of animals. Chickens, pigs, horses, sheep,
goats, but only one little cow. Everyone knew who Little Tex was but no-one
ever wanted to play with him.

He tried to play with the chickens, but they were too busy pecking the
ground.
He tried to play with the pigs, but all they did was rolled in the mud.
He tried to play with the horses, but they ran too fast for him.
He tried to play to the sheep, but they wouldn't talk to him.
He tried to play with the goats, but they just butted heads.

No-one wanted to play with Little Tex. They all thought he was too small.
So he decided that he should just be alone and play by himself.

The leaves turned orange and yellow and red. Little Tex played alone.
Then a blanket of snow covered the ground. Little Tex played alone.
The snow melted and everything turned green again. Little Tex played
alone.

Then one day Little Tex was out in the pasture and the horses came walking
by. They started talking about a new bull in Farmville. Little Tex didn't
know what a bull was, but he thought that he should go meet the new animal
and introduce himself. He walked up to the big barn. Everyone was
whispering "there's the new bull" and "look how big he is". Little Tex was
looking all over the place but he didn't see the new bull anywhere. Then
one of the horses walked over to Little Tex and asked, "What's your name?".

Little Tex was confused. He had already met everyone on the farm. They all
knew him. He said "It's me, Little Tex".

All of the animals gasped. "Wow! You have grown up a lot." said the
hoarse.

Little Tex walked over to the pond and looked at his reflection. It was
true. He wasn't short any more. He was tall and strong and had long horns
on top of his head. He wasn't a little cow any more. Now he was a big bull.
Everyone wanted to play with him now. No-one ever called him Little Tex
anymore either. Now they all called him Big Tex.

with her more. She always played with her brothers and sisters, but she
wanted time with just her and her parents.

her parents, but it wasn't the same. She realized that it wasn't as much
fun at the park without her brothers and sisters. She missed them. Even
though she enjoyed spending time with her Mommy and daddy, she enjoyed it
more when the whole family was together. She asked if they could go get the
rest of the piglets and come back to the park. Mommy and daddy said "Yes!"
and they went and got all of Piggy's brothers and sisters. The piglets told Piggy
that they had missed her while she was gone. Then Piggy realized that she

The Little Puppy Story

One uponce a time there was a little puppy named Perro. He wasn't just
little, he was very very little. He was so tiny that his daddy was afraid
to let him go play by himself. His daddy thought that Perro might get hurt
or lost because he was so little bitty. Perro always wanted to be big so
his daddy would let him play with all of the other pups in the junk yard.

One day Perro and his dad were walking down the street and out of nowhere
a dog-catcher sneaked up and scooped his dad up in a cage. Perro was so
little that the dog-catcher hadn't even seen him. His dad told Perro to run
back home. Perro was little on size but big on bravery. The dog catcher
picked up the cage and started carrying it back to his truck. Perro's dad
kept telling him to run home. Perro ran, but not towards home. He ran after
the dog-catcher and his dad. Perro wanted to save his dad, but he didn't
know what to do. Then he noticed that one of the dog-catcher's shoes was
untied. He ran between the man's shoes and grabbed the shoestring with his
teeth. Then he jumped over the other shoe and ran around behind the
dog-catcher. When the man took his next step the shoestring was wrapped
around his leg and it made him fall. When he fell he dropped the cage on
the ground. The cage broke open and Perro's dad was free. They both took
off running before the dog-catcher could even get up. Once they were safe
Perro's dad told him that he was very proud of him. Perro had proven that
even though he was little he could still be a big help. From then on
Perro's dad would let him play with the other pups at the junk yard.

The Mommy bird was happy that all of her baby's could fly. Now the nest
that she had built was really too small. So one day she decided to make a
new nest. Making a nest is a lot of work. At least she had her three baby
birds to help. She started gathering sticks and weaving them together. It
takes a long time to make a nest. While Momma bird was working on the nest
her baby birds kept gathering sticks and twigs for her. She had never made
a nest this big before. When she was almost done the nest started leaning
on the tree branch. Then it fell all the way to the ground. She had worked
hard trying to make a big nest and now it was on the ground. She flew down
and tried to pick it up, but it was too heavy. So one of the baby birds
tried but it couldn't move the nest either. Then another baby bird tried
and still the nest remained on the ground. Then the Momma bird had an idea.
She told all of the baby birds to try and lift it together, at the same
time. They all grabbed the nest, including Momma, and tried to lift it
again. This time the nest lifted into the air. When they got it back to the
tree the baby's held the nest while Momma reattached it to the tree. She
made it extra strong this time. Now they all had a place to live. All they
had to do was work together.
