Picking Blue Flowers

If you pick your nose like some children do,
What do you do with your sticky green goo?

Do you ever put it in your pocket to keep,
Or under your pillow when you go to sleep?

Do you wrap it up in a tissue so neat,
Or disregard your mucusy treat?

Here is a secret that very few know,
If you wipe it in grass it will grow.

At first it will start out so very small,
Then it will take off and grow up real tall.

It will sprout green leaves from the ground,
Then top itself off with a pretty blue crown.

Instead of picking and flicking them gone,
Wipe those boogers in a green grassy lawn.

Always remember this little bit of advise,
You could find yourself in a blue paradise.

Me, "Why do you have your finger in your nose?"
Ava, "To get my boogers."
Me, "What do you do with your boogers?"
Ava, "I put them in the grass."
Me, "Why?"
Ava, "Because they grow into blue flowers."
